Critical Review of Butter by Erin Jade Lange
To begin, I was in all honesty, not a fan of Butter. The first flaw I found with the book is Lange's writing style, which some may argue as better connecting to a younger audience, I find the vocabulary to be rather elementary. Also, as a character, Marshall, AKA Butter is an absolute aggravating character. He constantly has snarky commentary and I quite frankly find it annoying. Also, I believe despite many reviews, Butter is not universal because many of Butter's problems are caused by his extreme obesity and the solutions to them can not be applied to any other situation. Therefore, unless forced, I will not read anything else that Lange writes.
